The Friends of the Library group evolved to encompass this new chapter and now you are invited to be part of it!

A New Chapter Begins…
At the heart of the Treasured Recipes Exhibit, aprons spiraled beneath the dome like petals in bloom—lace, gingham, butcher bibs—all whispering stories of the hands that wore them.
That night, in the glow of twinkle lights and dried herbs, something shifted. The Friends of the Library had planted deep roots. But now, something new was stirring. Something alive.
And so, the McIntosh Apron & Ink Society was born—with brooches and pie crust under our fingernails, with heels or flats, and hearts wide open.
But the Apron & Ink Society isn’t just a fictional gathering—it’s a real-life invitation.
Inspired by the aproned hands and ink-stained hearts who shaped the town’s library (and my own life), this space is for anyone who finds joy in second chances, handwritten recipes, friendship, faith, and the beauty of everyday life.
Whether you’re here for the stories, the small-town charm, or the swoon-worthy suitors—I hope you’ll feel right at home.
