In this warm and engaging program, Jennifer shares encouragement about her journey of bringing Welcome to McIntosh to life. As well as hope in how God nurtures our dreams and brings things about in the right timing if we never give up. This program blends storytelling, reflection, and connection in a way that resonates across generations.
Jennifer shares a reading from the novel along with the story behind its creation, offering insight into the characters, the town, and the themes of community, belonging, and everyday beauty that inspired it. As well as her own journey as a writer beginning the story and then setting it aside for fifteen years and then suddenly competing the novel and the embarking on the publishing process that ultimately led to it’s #1 debut in Amazon’s Feel-Good Fiction.
The program concludes with time for conversation and book signing.

I’m an award-winning baker, entertaining expert, and author of Harry Potter: Feasts & Festivities. My latest project, Welcome to McIntosh, is a cozy fiction series filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of small-town life. I live in Virginia with my husband, daughter, and our opinionated flock of chickens.
